Maharashtra to Launch Three-Month Reform Utsav-2026 from October 2

The Maharashtra government will launch a three-month campaign titled 'Reform Utsav-2026' starting on October 2 to collect suggestions from citizens aimed at improving administrative, digital, and governance processes, officials announced in Mumbai on Tuesday.
According to a government resolution issued by the state's General Administration Department, the initiative is designed to translate citizen feedback into practical and effective administrative reforms. The campaign will focus on identifying unnecessary procedures, reducing compliance burdens, and addressing existing shortcomings in public service delivery.
The state-wide exercise is structured around a concept note developed by the Centre's Department of Economic Affairs to improve governance mechanisms across public platforms.
