MGMO Olympic Swimming Pool in Dadar Reopens After Two-Month Closure

The Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Olympic swimming pool near Shivaji Park in Dadar reopened to the public on Sunday after remaining closed for two months due to a water shortage.

Located on Veer Savarkar Marg, opposite Shivaji Park in Dadar (West), the facility welcomed back swimmers and regular members following the resumption of services.

The swimming complex had stayed shut after weak rainfall caused a water shortage across Mumbai. As monsoon showers gathered strength across the region, water levels in the city's lakes improved, providing the necessary supply to reopen the pool.

Swimmers returned to the facility on Sunday as daily operations officially resumed.
