MHADA Opens Registration for Eight Amenity Plots Across Mumbai Colonies

The Mumbai Housing and Area Development Board of the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) has opened online registration for the allotment of eight amenity plots across Mumbai on a First Come, First Served (FCFS) basis. The plots are located within MHADA colonies in Malad-Malvani, Tagore Nagar-Vikhroli, Kannamwar Nagar-Vikhroli, Gorai, and Akurli, with the registration process commencing on August 20, 2026.
The board will conduct the allotment across three distinct phases. Any plots that remain unallotted at the end of a phase will be carried forward to the subsequent phase alongside any newly added plots.
For the first phase, the booking window opens at 11 am on August 25, 2026. Interested applicants can submit their online forms along with the required documentation until 5:30 pm on September 5. Following the review of submissions, MHADA will publish the list of eligible and ineligible applicants at 5 pm on September 15.
The second phase of the allotment process is scheduled to begin at 11 am on September 20. Applications for this round will be accepted until 5:30 pm on September 30. The list detailing eligible and ineligible participants for the second phase will be published at 5 pm on October 10.
The third phase will commence at 11 am on October 15, with the submission deadline set for 5:30 pm on October 25. The final list of eligible and ineligible applicants for this phase will be released at 5 pm on November 5.
Applicants are required to upload all prescribed documents during the online application process and pay the applicable Earnest Money Deposit (EMD). MHADA has instructed applicants to review the information booklet, eligibility criteria, terms and conditions, and document lists prior to submitting their applications. Original physical copies of the uploaded documents must be presented to the Board whenever required.
