Mimoh Chakraborty to star in Vikram Bhatt film Haunted 3D Echoes Of The Past

The upcoming horror film 'Haunted 3D: Echoes Of The Past', directed by Vikram Bhatt, has been scheduled for a 2026 release. The movie's plot begins in Mumbai, where the main character, a reputed filmmaker, suffers a personal betrayal before fleeing the city to a mysterious hill station.

In the film, Mimoh Chakraborty plays Devadutt Choudhary, also known as Dev, a successful director whose latest movie, Laila Majnu, is on the verge of release. Dev is in a relationship with the film's lead actress, Sonali, played by Aradhna. However, days before the premiere, Dev discovers Sonali with the film's male lead.

Devastated by the discovery, Dev decides to leave Mumbai abruptly without notifying anyone. He is accompanied by his cousin, Titu, played by Gaurav Bajpai. The duo travels until they reach a quiet hill station named Maniktal, where Dev seeks peace and decides to rent a local property.

A local broker introduces Dev to the Maniktal Palace. After viewing photographs of the estate, Dev decides to lease the property. However, upon moving in, Dev and Titu quickly notice unusual details about the building. The right wing of the palace has all its doors and windows tightly shut, while the left wing remains completely open.

The palace's caretaker, Trilok, portrayed by Hemant Pandey, informs the new tenants that the right wing has remained locked for several decades because the keys to that section of the palace have been lost.

On their first night at the palace, Dev is awakened by an eerie noise. He investigates and finds that the doors to the locked right wing have opened. Upon entering, he encounters a mysterious girl named Sunheri, played by Chetna Pande, who is being harmed by an evil spirit. Dev soon discovers that Sunheri belongs to a completely different era, setting off the main conflict of the film.
