Mimoh Chakraborty vows to persist in acting career inspired by father Mithun

Actor Mahaakshay Chakraborty, widely known as Mimoh, has declared his determination to persist in his acting career, drawing inspiration from his father Mithun Chakraborty's historic struggles in the entertainment industry. Speaking in Mumbai, the actor emphasized that his father's resilience serves as a benchmark and a personal motivation to never quit.

Addressing his career trajectory, Mimoh explained that his definition of success has evolved. He stated that he no longer measures success by box office performance, industry validation, or the constant pressure of being compared to the legacy of his father, veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty. Instead, he now prioritizes peace, gratitude, and remaining grounded through the various highs and lows of life.

Mimoh reflected on the invaluable lessons he learned by watching his father navigate severe hardships during his early years in the film industry. He expressed that his father’s ability to survive such challenging times leaves him with no excuses to walk away from his own career. By embracing uncertainty, Mimoh noted that he has transformed his outlook on life, choosing to no longer seek external validation from the entertainment industry.

The actor also spoke about his personal life, including his marriage to actor Madalsa Sharma. He highlighted the significance of compartmentalizing different areas of his life to maintain a healthy balance between his personal and professional spheres.

Looking toward the future, Mimoh expressed an openness to taking on challenging roles across diverse languages and genres. He also mentioned the possibility of collaborating on screen with both his father and his brother in future film projects.

Reflecting on his early life, Mimoh recalled that as a school student, he was much like any other child. He remembered birthdays being the most exciting days of the school year because they allowed him to wear civilian clothes instead of his standard school uniform.
