Minor Stabs Woman in Dahisar After Exposing Illegal Marijuana Operation

A minor allegedly stabbed a woman with a knife in Dahisar on Thursday night following repeated threats made against him and his family after he exposed an illegal marijuana cultivation operation.

The incident took place at around 9 pm in Lane No. 4 of Ganpat Patil Nagar, an area falling under the jurisdiction of the Borivali MHB Police Station.

According to officials, the minor had recently exposed an illegal marijuana cultivation setup that was being operated from a residential property. The victim, identified as Suman Thakur, was allegedly involved in running the illegal operation.

Following the exposure of the marijuana cultivation, Thakur allegedly visited the minor's home and issued threats to him and his family members. The dispute escalated on Thursday night, resulting in the boy allegedly attacking Thakur with a knife and inflicting serious injuries.

Rather than fleeing the scene following the attack, the boy remained at the location and used a camera to record a video in which he appeared to confess to the stabbing. In the recorded footage, the minor allegedly stated, "So I stabbed her. I don't know if she is dead or alive, but I did stab her."

Personnel from the Borivali MHB Police Station arrived at the scene shortly after the incident was reported and initiated an investigation. Officers are currently probing the circumstances leading to the stabbing, alongside the allegations of illegal marijuana cultivation and potential drug smuggling in the area.

Further details concerning the woman's medical condition and the ongoing police inquiry remain awaited.
