MLA Rajesh Kshirsagar Claims Viral Commission Video Was Fabricated Using AI

Shiv Sena MLA Rajesh Kshirsagar has filed a formal complaint with the cyber police in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, after a controversial video of him circulated widely on social media. Kshirsagar has alleged that the video, which purportedly shows him discussing a "commission" with a government contractor, is entirely fabricated.

According to the legislator, the viral video was created using artificial intelligence (AI) technology. He stated that his voice was dubbed over the footage to produce a misleading and false recording. Kshirsagar has firmly rejected all the allegations and claims associated with the footage.

The online circulation of the video has triggered a political controversy across Maharashtra. In response to the public fallout, Kshirsagar approached the cyber police to investigate the authenticity of the clip. He confirmed that he has already submitted an official complaint to the cyber police department to initiate an inquiry.

The cyber police are expected to conduct an investigation to determine how the video was created and whether AI tools and voice dubbing were indeed used to manipulate the footage. The investigation into the origin of the video and its authenticity remains ongoing.
