MMRCL Warns Mumbai Job Seekers Against Fake Recruitment Ads and Fraudulent Offers

The Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation Limited (MMRCL) issued a public advisory in Mumbai on Friday, July 17, 2026, warning citizens about fake recruitment advertisements, fraudulent job offers, and forged appointment letters being circulated in its name.

The corporation stated that fraudsters are actively impersonating the MMRCL to target unsuspecting job seekers. According to the advisory, these scammers are employing deceptive tactics to mislead applicants, including the use of forged documents and unauthorized branding to make their fraudulent communications appear authentic.

In addition to forged physical documents, the fraudsters are also utilizing digital means to deceive the public. The MMRCL highlighted that fake email addresses and deceptive websites are being widely used to conduct these employment scams.

To protect job seekers from falling victim to these fraudulent schemes, the corporation has urged applicants to remain extremely vigilant. The MMRCL advised citizens to follow basic precautions and verify the authenticity of any job offer or recruitment advertisement before proceeding.
