MNIT Jaipur Students Review Redesigned IRCTC Website Beta Version Ahead Of Launch

On 10 July 2026, officials from the Indian Railways, the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC), and the Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS) presented the beta version of the redesigned IRCTC website to students at the Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT) in Jaipur.
The presentation and review session at the Malaviya National Institute of Technology in Jaipur allowed the students to test the new platform and share their feedback before the website is officially launched to the public.
According to officials, the redesigned beta version introduces several key improvements. These changes are aimed at making the online ticket booking process quicker and more user-friendly, providing a better overall experience for passengers.
The decision to redesign the platform came after the same group of MNIT Jaipur students highlighted several issues with the existing IRCTC website a few weeks prior to the July 10 presentation. Their initial feedback prompted the Indian Railways to initiate the redesign process.
During the session on 10 July 2026, the students reviewed the updated beta interface and provided their feedback to the presenting officials from IRCTC and CRIS. This input will be considered before the final public rollout of the new website.
The collaboration between the railway authorities and the students of MNIT Jaipur highlights the effort to resolve issues that users have faced with the existing website, making the ticket booking process more efficient and reliable for the public.
With the feedback now collected, the Indian Railways is preparing to launch the beta version publicly, incorporating the suggestions provided by the students during the review process.
