Modernised Kandivali West Post Office Inaugurated Under Jan Sewa Connect

The newly renovated Kandivali West Post Office in Mumbai was inaugurated on Monday as a modern, technology-enabled service centre under India Post's 'Jan Sewa Connect' initiative.

Union Communications and DoNER Minister Jyotiraditya M Scindia and Minister of State for Communications and Rural Development Dr Chandra Sekhar Pemmasani virtually inaugurated the upgraded facility in Kandivali West.

According to an official statement, the Kandivali West centre was inaugurated alongside 14 other post offices across eight postal circles as part of the nationwide programme.

The upgraded facility features improved infrastructure, modern interiors, enhanced customer amenities, digital integration, and a strengthened visual identity.

Officials noted that the renovation is part of India Post's broader efforts to transform traditional post offices into modern and customer-friendly service hubs.
