MP Shrikant Shinde Holds Janata Darbar in Dombivli East to Address Grievances
Kalyan Lok Sabha MP Dr Shrikant Shinde held the 'Khasdar Aplya Bhetit – Janata Darbar' initiative at Jondhale Vidyalaya in Dombivli East on Sunday, where hundreds of citizens gathered to present personal, civic, and administrative grievances directly to their elected representative.
The programme was organised to provide local residents with an accessible platform to raise issues that had remained pending with civic authorities and government departments. Shinde interacted directly with citizens, reviewing their submissions and discussing the problems in detail.
Several matters were addressed on the spot in the presence of officials from the concerned departments. Organisers stated that officials received clear instructions to prioritise all pending grievances and resolve them within a stipulated timeframe.
In addition to individual complaints, representatives from various civic organisations and local social workers submitted formal memoranda highlighting broader community concerns and infrastructure development demands. Shinde assured the delegations that their requests would be examined thoroughly and appropriate administrative action would be initiated.
Speaking at the programme, Shinde said the initiative was designed to ensure that citizen grievances reach the appropriate authorities and are tracked until fully resolved. He noted that residents should not have to make repeated visits to government offices for routine or pressing civic matters, adding that the objective of 'Khasdar Aplya Bhetit' is to bring the administration closer to the people. He also confirmed that similar outreach sessions would continue across the Kalyan Lok Sabha constituency.
The Janata Darbar was attended by MLA Rajesh More, Kalyan-Dombivli Mayor Harshali Chaudhary, district chief Gopal Landge, Yuva Sena district president Jiten Patil, and corporator Vishwanath Rane. Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation Additional Commissioner Harshal Gaikwad and senior KDMC officials were also present, enabling civic and administrative matters to be addressed directly on site.
