MSRTC NCMC Smart Card Registrations Cross 1 Crore in Maharashtra

More than one crore bus passengers across Maharashtra have registered for the National Common Mobility Card (NCMC) smart card introduced by the Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC).

According to data available as of August 12, a total of 1,01,73,838 passengers had registered for the NCMC smart card across the state. Out of the total registrations, 64,91,065 cards have been activated so far.

The smart card initiative was introduced by the MSRTC to standardise and digitalise travel ticketing for commuters using public transport services throughout Maharashtra.
