Mumbai Mayor Ritu Tawde Visits Injured Flydubai Pilot's Family in Ghatkopar East

Mumbai Mayor Ritu Tawde visited the family of injured flydubai pilot Captain Smit Machchhar at their residence in Ghatkopar East on Sunday, October 4, to enquire about his health and pray for his quick recovery following a recent mid-air cockpit attack.

During the visit, Tawde met with Captain Machchhar's uncle, Kishor Machchhar, at his home in Ghatkopar East. An official statement noted that the mayor spoke directly with the family regarding the Mumbai-born pilot's current condition and the medical treatment he is receiving.

The visit follows an incident on September 30, during which Captain Machchhar was injured in an attack inside the cockpit mid-air. Municipal representatives reached out to the family to offer support while the pilot undergoes recovery.

Tawde conveyed her good wishes to the family for the pilot's speedy recovery, good health, and long life as he continues his medical treatment.
