Mumbai Police Detain 37 Bangladeshi Nationals For Residing Illegally

The targeted operation was executed by various specialized units operating under Detection Branch-1 of the Mumbai Crime Branch. During the preliminary investigation phase of the crackdown, police officers established that the thirty-seven detained individuals had been staying in Mumbai without possessing the mandatory travel or residential documents required for legal entry into or residence within India.
As part of the standard verification procedure, the police verified their identities, nationality, mode of entry into India, and the documents used to stay in the country.
