Mumbai Police Issue Traffic Advisory for Eid-e-Milad Procession in Mankhurd

Mumbai Traffic Police have issued a comprehensive traffic advisory outlining temporary restrictions and route diversions in Mankhurd on August 26 in view of the upcoming Eid-e-Milad procession.
The vehicular regulations and diversions in the eastern suburbs of Mumbai will remain in effect from 2 pm to 10 pm on August 26, according to an official notification released by the police.
Authorities anticipate a massive gathering for the procession along the Ghatkopar-Mankhurd Link Road. According to the traffic notification, between 70,000 and 80,000 people are expected to take part in the event.
In addition to the large number of participants on foot, the procession will also include vehicular movement. Police estimate that 100 to 200 motorbikes alongside more than 50 large vehicles will be participating along the designated route on the Ghatkopar-Mankhurd Link Road.
To accommodate the large crowd and ensure smooth vehicular flow across the surrounding areas, temporary restrictions and diversions have been set up for motorists traveling through Mankhurd during the specified eight-hour window.
