Mumbai Police Rescue 65-Year-Old Woman Attempting to Jump From Vikhroli Building

A 65-year-old woman was safely rescued after she allegedly attempted to jump from the fifth floor of a building in Vikhroli, Mumbai Police said.
The incident came to light when Assistant Sub-Inspector Pansare of the Powai Police Station spotted the woman while out on his morning walk. The building where the incident occurred falls under the jurisdiction of the Vikhroli Police Station.
Following the alert, a coordinated rescue effort was quickly launched to prevent the woman from jumping. Police Inspector Gadade, police personnel Sudham Binnar, and Maharashtra Security Force jawan Rathod coordinated the operation on the scene and managed to bring her to safety.
According to officials, the woman was safely brought down following the timely intervention. She was subsequently provided with counselling after being rescued.
