Mumbai Records Up to 17.34 mm Rain in Suburbs; Light to Moderate Showers Forecast

Mumbai and its suburbs are expected to witness generally cloudy skies alongside light to moderate rainfall on Tuesday, following showers across the city and suburbs over the preceding 24 hours.
According to the latest weather forecast, light to moderate rain has been predicted across the city and suburban areas as cloudy conditions prevail.
During the 24-hour period ending at 8 am on August 18, rainfall was registered across various parts of the metropolis. The eastern suburbs recorded the highest average precipitation at 17.34 mm.
The western suburbs recorded an average rainfall of 16.64 mm during the same 24-hour window ending at 8 am.
The island city area recorded an average rainfall of 7.98 mm over the same period.
Weather conditions across Mumbai and the suburban belt are expected to remain cloudy with continuing light to moderate rain spells through the day.
