Mumbai Ultra Run Returns on August 15 with Shivaji Park to Worli Route

The ninth edition of the Mumbai Ultra Run will take place on August 15, featuring runners navigating a 12-hour course along loops connecting Shivaji Park and Worli.
Participants are gearing up and carb loading for the gruelling endurance event, which is held at Shivaji Park every year on August 15. An ultramarathon encompasses any running event that extends beyond the traditional 42.2-kilometre marathon distance, testing participants over the continuous half-day timeframe.
This year's event features a notable deviation from its regular annual schedule regarding its charitable component. Organisers have shifted the accompanying blood donation drive to November.
Historically, the blood donation camp has taken place alongside the ultramarathon on the same day at the Swatantrya Veer Savarkar Smarak at Shivaji Park and other designated locations. The initiative encourages runners and citizens to donate blood to support paediatric cancer patients.
Despite the rescheduling of the donation camp to November, the athletic component will proceed as planned on August 15, with runners completing continuous circuits between Shivaji Park and Worli over the course of 12 hours.
