Mumbai University Extends Kalina Campus APAAR ID Help Camp Till August 21

The University of Mumbai has extended its special help camp for students facing difficulties with APAAR ID creation, Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) ID linking, and Aadhaar authentication till August 21. The extension follows an overwhelming response from students across the city and affiliated institutions.

The special facility camp is being conducted at the Alkesh Dinesh Mody Institute for Financial and Management Studies on the university's Kalina campus. The initiative is being organized in coordination with the Director of the Board of Examinations and Evaluation to ensure on-the-spot resolution of technical and documentation-related hurdles.

According to the university, around 800 students visited the Kalina campus facility on Wednesday alone to resolve their pending issues. The camp provides direct assistance for creating APAAR IDs, linking APAAR IDs with ABC IDs, and completing Aadhaar authentication. Officials at the site are also helping students rectify discrepancies involving Aadhaar-linked mobile numbers, misspelled names, and incorrect dates of birth, along with other related Aadhaar documentation problems.

The university has made the APAAR ID strictly mandatory for the generation of hall tickets for upcoming examinations. Authorities clarified that students who do not possess a generated APAAR ID will not be able to obtain their examination hall tickets.

Students who have not yet created their identification numbers or continue to face issues with authentication and linking have been urged to visit the Kalina campus camp by August 21 to avail themselves of the service. Candidates attending the camp are advised to carry their physical Aadhaar card alongside all relevant supporting documents and details required to resolve their records.

In addition to the direct appeal to students, the University of Mumbai has instructed all affiliated colleges, autonomous colleges, and university departments to actively inform their students about the extended camp dates and ensure maximum participation before the deadline.
