Nalasopara Biker Killed in Gas Truck Collision on Achole-Vasai Link Road

A 27-year-old motorcyclist from Nalasopara was killed on Sunday morning after a gas delivery truck allegedly rammed into his two-wheeler on the Achole-Vasai Link Road near Martin Complex in Vasai. The fatal collision occurred at around 11:30 am, according to preliminary reports.

The deceased has been identified as Krishna Vishwakarma. Vishwakarma suffered severe injuries during the collision when the Bharat Petroleum gas delivery truck struck his two-wheeler.

In the immediate aftermath of the collision, local residents at the scene rushed Vishwakarma to Icon Hospital. However, doctors at Icon Hospital declared him dead on arrival due to the gravity of his injuries.

Following notification about the incident, officers from the Achole police station reached the spot to secure the scene. The police impounded the Bharat Petroleum truck involved in the crash and took its driver into custody for questioning.

"We have registered a case of accidental death and are finding out the exact cause of the accident," an officer from the Achole police station said regarding the ongoing investigation.
