Nalasopara Police arrest two and rescue six women in Regal Spa Centre raid

The Nalasopara Police busted an alleged sex racket operating under the guise of a spa centre at the Regal Spa Centre in Nalasopara West on July 14, 2026. During the coordinated raid, officers rescued six women and arrested two individuals.
The two arrested men were identified by the police as 22-year-old Mahesh Chavan and 52-year-old Kamlesh Pathak. Additionally, the police named Bhimsen Nayak, the operator of the Regal Spa Centre, as an accused in the case.
According to authorities, the Nalasopara Police had received confidential information regarding immoral activities taking place at the Regal Spa Centre. After verifying the tip-off, the police planned and executed a coordinated raid on the establishment.
During the operation, it was revealed that an alleged sex racket was operating on the premises. The police took immediate action to rescue the six women. Officers also seized key documents and other evidence from the spot.
A case was registered against the concerned individuals after preliminary investigations established that a sex racket was allegedly being run under the guise of the spa. The identities of the rescued women have been kept confidential. The police informed that the process of recording their statements is underway, and they are being provided with the necessary legal aid and protection.
The Nalasopara Police have registered the case under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and other relevant legal provisions. The police are currently interrogating the arrested accused to investigate whether anyone else is involved in the racket.
