Nashik Trimbakeshwar Kumbh Mela Tech Hackathon Deadline Extended to September 15

The Nashik Trimbakeshwar Kumbh Mela Authority on Wednesday extended the submission deadline for its technology hackathon by 15 days to September 15.

The decision comes after startups and young technology professionals approached the authority seeking more time to prepare and submit their entries addressing key operational challenges for the upcoming Simhastha Kumbh Mela.

The hackathon has been organised to invite and develop technology-driven solutions tailored for managing the mega religious gathering.

According to the authority, the initiative spans six key focus areas, which include sanitation, COVID-19 and first response, as well as 360-degree surveillance and security.
