Navi Mumbai Faces 16-Hour Water Cut in Seven Nodes on October 6 and 7

Water supply will be suspended for 16 hours across Belapur, Nerul, Vashi, Turbhe-Sanpada, Koparkhairane, Ghansoli, Airoli, and two CIDCO nodes in Navi Mumbai starting Tuesday, October 6, according to an official notification issued by the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation.

The shutdown is scheduled to begin at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, October 6, and will continue until 2:00 AM on Wednesday, October 7. The civic administration stated that the suspension is required to carry out infrastructure works at and around the Bhokarpada Water Treatment Plant.

During the 16-hour period, water supply routed through the Main Feeder Water Pipeline will remain shut. The closure will affect households and establishments across the seven identified municipal nodes as well as surrounding areas under CIDCO jurisdiction.

The municipal corporation released the details through a public notification on Sunday to alert residents across the impacted zones ahead of the scheduled maintenance work.
