A nine-year-old Class 2 schoolgirl sustained serious injuries after she was struck by a speeding motorcycle in the Gaya Nagar area of Beed district, Maharashtra. The incident occurred moments after the student, identified as Gaya Nagar resident Abhidnya Madiwale, stepped off her school bus and was attempting to cross the road.

CCTV footage of the incident captured the moment of the collision, showing that the unidentified motorcyclist did not stop after hitting the young child and fled the scene immediately. Following the accident, nearby local residents and the school bus driver rushed to the girl's aid. They quickly transported her to a nearby private hospital, where she is currently undergoing medical treatment for her serious injuries.

Upon receiving information about the accident, Police Inspector Vaibhav Patil, who is in charge of the District Traffic Branch, along with Police Sub-Inspector Vijay Jadhar and a team of officers, immediately rushed to the private hospital to review the situation and monitor the victim's condition.

The accident has raised serious questions and sparked widespread concern among local residents regarding road safety near school bus drop-off points.
