No BEST Buses Run on Day 2 of Mumbai Strike, Special Services Set for NEET Students

In Mumbai, no Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST) buses operated on the second day of a strike, causing major disruptions for daily commuters across the city. The complete suspension of the bus service prompted authorities to arrange special transport services specifically for NEET students to ensure they could reach their exams.

The ongoing strike left the city's regular public bus transport completely paralyzed on its second day. Daily commuters who rely on the extensive BEST network faced significant challenges as no buses plied the streets. The lack of public transport options forced residents to look for alternative means of travel during the service disruption.

To prevent the strike from impacting students appearing for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), special bus services were organized. These temporary arrangements were put in place to provide reliable transit for the exam candidates, allowing them to reach their test centres without facing delays caused by the ongoing transit strike.

The special transport measures were aimed at ensuring that students did not miss their examinations due to the lack of regular BEST bus operations. Meanwhile, the general public continued to navigate the transport challenges presented by the second consecutive day of the transit strike in Mumbai.
