One Dead, One Injured After Bike Falls Off Railway Bridge on Mumbai-Agra Highway

A 22-year-old man was killed and another person was seriously injured on Thursday, June 4, 2026, after their motorcycle skidded on the Mumbai-Agra highway in Thane and fell off a railway bridge.

According to the local police, the accident occurred when the motorcycle lost control and skidded on the highway. The vehicle hit the railing of a railway bridge and plunged onto the tracks below.

Both of the riders on the motorcycle hailed from Rajur Babulwadi in Akola, police officials confirmed.

The 22-year-old man died on the spot due to the impact of the fall. The other rider sustained serious injuries and was rushed to a hospital, where they are currently undergoing treatment.

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash on the highway.
