Pankaj Bhoyar Directs Officials to Resolve Aramnagar Redevelopment Issues

Maharashtra Minister of State for Housing Dr Pankaj Bhoyar has directed officials to take immediate steps to resolve various long-pending issues faced by residents of Aramnagar in the Versova Assembly constituency.
The instructions were issued during a special review meeting held at Mantralaya to discuss the grievances of local residents. The discussions centered on addressing problems related to basic infrastructure, redevelopment concerns, and various administrative hurdles that have persisted in the locality. Bhoyar instructed the concerned authorities to work towards finding appropriate and permanent solutions to these longstanding problems.
Residents living in Aramnagar had previously raised a series of complaints regarding inadequate basic infrastructure, complications surrounding redevelopment-related matters, and the difficulties they encountered while dealing with various administrative processes. Taking note of these widespread concerns, the housing department convened the review meeting to evaluate the overall situation on the ground and expedite administrative action.
Former Member of the Legislative Assembly Bharati Lavekar, Mumbai MHADA Chief Officer Borikar, Housing Department Joint Secretary Vidya Hampaya, and senior officials from multiple concerned departments attended the review session. During the meeting, Lavekar along with the administrative officials apprised the minister of the ground situation in Aramnagar and outlined the key demands submitted by the local residents.
Following the detailed discussions, Dr Bhoyar stressed that the interests of the local residents should strictly remain at the centre of all administrative decisions and policies. He specifically directed officials from the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) not to cause further delays in the matter and to initiate necessary action at the earliest, while ensuring that all steps are taken strictly within the legal framework and applicable rules.
The minister also instructed the concerned authorities to speed up all pending proposals and administrative approval processes so that the residents of the area could receive timely relief. He called for expediting the resolution of issues that have remained pending for several days and instructed officials to maintain a coordinated follow-up mechanism until all matters are permanently resolved.
