Pankhuri Sharma Shares Emotional Farewell Post As She Relocates From Mumbai

On July 1, Pankhuri Sharma, the wife of Indian cricketer Krunal Pandya, shared an emotional farewell message on Instagram as she prepares to relocate from Mumbai. The announcement of her departure has fueled public speculation and rumors regarding a rift between brothers Krunal and Hardik Pandya.

Sharma took to her social media account to reflect on her journey in Mumbai, which began in 2013 when she arrived as a young woman with big dreams. In her post, she credited the city with teaching her resilience, patience, and courage. She wrote that she found herself and learned to stand on her own through the city's crowded streets, late nights, and monsoon seasons.

During her time in Mumbai, Sharma met her partner Krunal, built a home, and became a mother. She expressed deep gratitude, stating that the city gave her much more than a place to live, describing it as the place that built her life. Her husband, Krunal, reacted to the post with heart emojis, while online users wished her luck in her new city.

Although Sharma did not state where the couple is moving, speculation points toward Bengaluru. Krunal is a star all-rounder for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), having recently helped the team win its first IPL trophy in 18 years and retain the title in 2026.

The relocation coincides with reports that Krunal's brother, Hardik Pandya, is permanently moving from Mumbai to Bengaluru to make the BCCI’s Centre of Excellence (COE) his primary training base. Hardik is currently recovering from a quadriceps injury that sidelined him from the white-ball tour of the UK.

The move of both families to Bengaluru has led to speculation that the alleged rift between the brothers has ended. Meanwhile, other reports suggest Hardik may move to the Rajasthan Royals, potentially sending opener Yashasvi Jaiswal to the Mumbai Indians.
