Panvel civic school students craft handmade rakhis for soldiers

Students of Panvel Municipal Corporation School No. 5, Jeevan Shikshan Vidyamandir, in Mothe Khanda marked the festival of Raksha Bandhan by making handmade rakhis for soldiers serving along the country’s borders.

The initiative, titled ‘One Rakhi for Soldiers’, was organised for the fourth consecutive year. The effort was held to express gratitude, respect, and affection towards armed forces personnel who remain stationed away from their families while performing their duties.

In addition to honouring the armed forces, the activity provided the students with an opportunity to showcase their artistic creativity while fostering a sense of patriotism.
