The Panvel Municipal Corporation (PMC) marked its anniversary on Thursday with official programmes organised across all four of its ward committee offices. The events took place at the civic body's administrative centres in Kharghar, Kamothe, Kalamboli, and Panvel, bringing together elected municipal corporators, civic officials, employees, and local residents to review progress and ongoing ward-level development projects.

At the Ward Committee D office in Panvel, the anniversary gathering was conducted in the presence of former leader of the house and municipal corporator Paresh Thakur. The event focused on reviewing administrative performance and local civic initiatives.

During the programme at the Panvel office, Assistant Commissioner and Ward Officer Dr Rupali Mane presented a detailed overview of the civic body's progress. Dr Mane also provided an explanation of the municipal corporation's day-to-day administrative functioning and ongoing operations.

The gathering at the Panvel ward office was attended by key municipal representatives, including Women and Child Welfare Committee chairperson Mamta Mhatre and committee chairperson Ajay Bahira, along with other municipal corporators and civic officials.

In Kamothe, the anniversary commemoration was held at the Ward Committee C office, where chairperson Ravindra Joshi and municipal members attended. Joshi addressed the attendees, highlighting various development works currently underway across the ward, and extended warm anniversary greetings to local citizens. Visitors arriving at the Kamothe ward office were also welcomed with roses.

A similar programme was organised at the Ward Committee B office in Kalamboli in the presence of chairperson Madhu Patil and fellow municipal members. The gathering reviewed the progress of ongoing development works in the area, with civic officials, municipal employees, and residents taking part.

At the Ward Committee A office in Kharghar, the anniversary event was held under the chairmanship of Ravindra Bhagat. Municipal members received briefings regarding active development works across the ward, and greetings were extended to citizens.
