Parbhani district secured investment pledges exceeding Rs 1,622 crore through Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) signed with 162 entrepreneurs at the 'Invest in Parbhani' Conference organized by the District Industries Center. The investments are projected to create employment for 15,617 local residents.

Speaking at the conference, Guardian Minister Meghna Sakore-Bordikar announced that the foundation stone laying ceremonies for the newly signed industrial projects will take place by Dussehra. The minister, who holds portfolios including Public Health and Family Welfare, Water Supply and Sanitation, Energy, and Women and Child Development, highlighted that the influx of capital will boost local entrepreneurship and economic activity across the district.

The conference was attended by Member of Parliament Ramrao Vadkute, District Collector Sanjay Singh Chavan, Assistant Commissioner Sunil Modak, Assistant Commissioner Amol Bale, Assistant Industries Officer Prabhakar Vatane, Bhavana Bordikar, and several entrepreneurs including Nilesh Tribhuvan, Dhiren Gilani, Bipin Ingole, Sushma Mordhania, Balasaheb Gite, and Santosh Eklare.

The administration has registered approximately 80,000 applicants under the Mukhyamantri Udyog Nirman Yojana through the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) framework. Officials are providing guidance on documentation, finance supply, and grant eligibility, with plans to streamline clearances through a single-window system.

Guardian Minister Sakore-Bordikar assured entrepreneurs that a new Planning Bhavan and an Udyog Bhavan (Industry Building) will be constructed in Parbhani to facilitate all required permissions under the Ease of Doing Business policy. Periodic review meetings will be conducted from the Udyog Bhavan to monitor industrial progress.

In addition, investments are planned to set up a Centre for Innovation, Incubation and Training (CIICIT) in Parbhani. The minister noted that local oilseed production and eco-friendly energy generation present strong potential for new processing industries and skilled local employment.

A proposal has also been submitted to Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to establish Maharashtra's first Integrated Compressed Biogas (CBG) Cluster in Parbhani. The project aims to generate revenue and jobs for farmers by producing CBG and organic fertilizer from agricultural residue, Napier grass, cow dung, and biological waste.
