PMC Calls Joint Meeting in Panvel on August 25 for Ganeshotsav Pandal Approvals

The Panvel Municipal Corporation (PMC) will hold a joint meeting with government departments, police, traffic authorities, the fire brigade, MSEDCL, and other agencies on August 25 to discuss permissions and arrangements for public Ganeshotsav pandals in Panvel.
The meeting is scheduled for 5 pm at the Adya Krantiveer Vasudev Balwant Phadke Natyagruha in Panvel. Office-bearers and representatives from all public Ganeshotsav mandals across the municipal limits have been urged to attend the session on time.
Civic officials convened the meeting to ensure that the upcoming festival is conducted in a safe, orderly, and well-planned manner without causing public inconvenience or law-and-order issues. The civic administration noted that extensive preparations are underway to streamline the process of granting required permissions for erecting pandals, stages, arches, and temporary structures.
Under the civic body's single-window system, mandals can submit online applications for permissions through the dedicated portal, pandal.maharts.in. In addition, the PMC has prepared a comprehensive Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) governing the setup of pandals and related structures. Officials will brief mandal representatives on the SOP and key guidelines during the meeting.
Representatives from the Panvel tehsildar's office, local police, traffic departments, MSEDCL, the fire brigade, and PMC administrative staff will be present. The civic body has appealed to all public Ganeshotsav mandals to cooperate with authorities and strictly follow the prescribed regulations to ensure peaceful and safe celebrations.
