Printer fire breaks out at Tembhi Naka medical store in Thane West

A minor fire broke out inside the Chintamani Medical Store at Tembhi Naka in Thane West on Friday morning, 10 July 2026. The incident, which was triggered by a printer catching fire, resulted in no injuries.

According to the Thane Municipal Corporation’s Disaster Management Cell, the emergency alert was received at 6:56 AM on Friday. The fire originated in a printer kept inside the medical store, which is located on the ground floor of the ground-plus-four-storey Jain Mandir Building.

Firefighters and emergency teams from the Disaster Management Cell responded to the alert. The firefighters swiftly brought the blaze under control and extinguished the fire before it could spread further into the building.

No injuries were reported in the incident, and the fire was successfully contained to the ground-floor establishment.
