Raigad India Post to Hold Monthly Postal Adalat in Alibag on September 7

The Raigad Division of India Post will hold a Postal Adalat in Alibag on September 7, 2026, at 3 pm to address unresolved customer complaints regarding postal services.

Customers whose grievances have remained pending for more than six weeks are eligible to submit their cases for the hearing. Complaints must be sent in duplicate to the Superintendent of Post Offices, Raigad Division, Alibag, and must reach the office by September 3, 2026, according to Rajesh Ranalekar, Superintendent of Post Offices for the division.

The Postal Adalat will address complaints concerning a range of postal operations, including ordinary post, Speed Post, counter services, Post Office Savings Bank accounts, money orders, and other related services. When submitting their grievances, applicants are required to provide comprehensive details, including the date on which the initial complaint was registered as well as the name and designation of the postal official to whom it was originally submitted.

The upcoming hearing also marks a procedural shift for the postal department, which has increased the frequency of the Postal Adalat from a quarterly event to a monthly hearing. The session on September 7 will be the first conducted under this updated format.

Going forward, the Postal Adalat will be held at 3 pm on the first Monday of each month. If the first Monday coincides with a public holiday, the session will be conducted on the following day. The postal department will issue a separate formal schedule detailing upcoming monthly hearings.
