Ramchandra Kisan Jayabhaye Takes Charge As Maharashtra Chief Postmaster General

Senior Indian Postal Service (IPoS) officer Ramchandra Kisan Jayabhaye has officially assumed charge as the Chief Postmaster General (CPMG) of the Maharashtra Circle in Mumbai. Jayabhaye took over the leadership role with effect from July 9, 2026.
A member of the 2000-batch of the Indian Postal Service, Jayabhaye secured the 352nd All India Rank to join the service. He brings more than 25 years of experience in corporate, banking, and postal administration to his new designation heading the Maharashtra postal circle.
Before his tenure in the postal service, Jayabhaye built a diverse career in the financial and corporate sectors. He initially worked with TISCO Systems.
Following his time at TISCO Systems, Jayabhaye joined the Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI), where he served as an Assistant Manager. He later worked with the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) in the capacity of a Manager, further expanding his experience in financial administration before transitioning to the postal service.
