Rohit Sharma Resumes Training at MCA Facility in Bandra-Kurla Complex

Former India captain Rohit Sharma has returned to training at the Mumbai Cricket Association facility in Bandra-Kurla Complex, shifting his focus to the upcoming One Day International series against the West Indies.
The 39-year-old cricketer returned to Mumbai for the grind following a month-long break. In a video shared by journalist Gaurav Gupta, Rohit was seen completing running drills alongside trainers at the MCA facility in Bandra-Kurla Complex, a venue where he has frequently trained to restore his physical fitness.
Rohit was last in action during July throughout India's 2-1 series loss in England. While that tour was previously viewed by many as a potential swansong for the former captain, Rohit showcased his class by scoring a hundred at Lord's, an innings that silenced doubters and likely extended his international career.
The senior cricketer's future has remained a major point of discussion in Indian cricket. With Rohit well into the latter stage of his career, national selectors have reportedly considered transitioning to the next phase, with Yashasvi Jaiswal waiting in the wings.
The national selectors have not yet announced the official squad for the three-match ODI series against the West Indies. However, Rohit remains a near certainty to be included for the contest, which is scheduled to kick off on September 27.
