Sakinaka Police Book Telangana Woman for False Drug Party Tip-Off in Andheri East

The Sakinaka police have booked a woman and an unidentified man for allegedly trespassing into the home of a 27-year-old resident in Andheri East and providing a false tip-off to the police control room claiming that a drug party was underway at the house.

According to the First Information Report (FIR), the incident followed the cancellation of the complainant's marriage to the woman, identified as Dkshayani, a medical student from Telangana. The two had originally connected through social media and later entered into a relationship.

The couple got engaged in Delhi in August 2024 with the consent of their families. However, the complainant alleged that during the relationship, Dkshayani repeatedly engaged in abusive behaviour, including hitting her head against a wall, cutting her wrist, and threatening suicide whenever he refused her demands. Following continuous disputes, the marriage was officially called off with the consent of both families in June 2026.

On the night of August 13, while the complainant was hosting friends at his residence in Andheri East, Dkshayani allegedly sent an unidentified man to the house around 10 pm. The man entered the premises, peeked inside, and told the complainant that Dkshayani had sent him.

Shortly after, Dkshayani allegedly placed a call to the police control room claiming that a drug party was taking place at the complainant's residence. Police officers arrived at the location and conducted a search of the house, but found no narcotics, illegal substances, or any evidence of a drug party.

Following their preliminary inquiry, police confirmed that the information provided to the control room was false. Based on the man's complaint, the Sakinaka police registered an FIR against Dkshayani and the unidentified man under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita for trespassing and providing false information to public servants.
