Salim Dola Names Bollywood Producer Daughter as Drug Cartel Logistics Chief

During his custodial interrogation in Mumbai on July 2, 2026, international drug trafficker Mohammad Salim Ismail Dola allegedly linked the daughter of a prominent Bollywood producer to a major domestic synthetic drug cartel. According to central security agencies, Dola claimed the woman served as the logistics and execution chief for the cartel, which is operated by her husband, Chikna, an arrested distributor currently lodged in Arthur Road Jail.
The disclosure has exposed high-profile links between the Hindi film industry and a transnational narcotics network. Dola, a 59-year-old also known as "Hamza," allegedly detailed how the producer's daughter managed the domestic operations of the network, which was one of the largest recipients of drugs supplied through his international trafficking operations.
According to officials, the woman allegedly coordinated the movement, storage, and concealment of synthetic drugs distributed across several Indian states. She is also accused of managing the warehousing and financial transactions connected to the cartel.
Her husband, Chikna, who is allegedly close to Pakistan-based don Dawood Ibrahim, was arrested in Goa by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in September 2025. He is described by Dola as one of India's largest distributors of synthetic narcotics and a principal purchaser of high-grade drugs.
Officials familiar with the interrogation stated that this is not the woman's first connection to anti-narcotics agencies. She was previously arrested for the alleged possession of mephedrone but was later acquitted due to procedural lapses in the prosecution's case.
Her father, a prominent Bollywood producer and businessman, has also faced past controversies regarding alleged links to the D-Company and the purported financing of films through underworld funds.
According to officials, Dola claimed that the producer had repeatedly attempted to distance his daughter from individuals involved in narcotics trafficking. However, she gradually drifted away from her family and established contact with persons in the drug trade, eventually marrying Chikna and joining the cartel.
