Shiv Sena Leaders Suresh Awale and Yashwant More Clash in Ghatkopar East

A physical altercation broke out between two prominent leaders of the Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena faction in Ward No. 125 of Ghatkopar East, Mumbai, following a dispute over internal party appointments. The incident, which was reported on Wednesday, involved Shiv Sena Corporator and divisional head Suresh Awale and the party’s Assembly Leader Yashwant More.

The dispute began when Yashwant More visited Suresh Awale to question him regarding certain appointments that had been made within the local party unit. The meeting quickly escalated from a verbal argument into a full-blown physical fight between the two leaders.

The visual recording of the confrontation shows Suresh Awale engaged in a heated verbal argument with Yashwant More. The altercation eventually led to physical violence, resulting in Suresh Awale’s clothes being torn during the scuffle.

After the CCTV footage of the physical altercation went viral, it sparked widespread speculation about internal challenges and potential rifts within the Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena faction.

The matter was subsequently taken to the Pantnagar Police Station. However, both parties refused to file a formal written complaint with the police. Both Suresh Awale and Yashwant More declined to take legal action, labeling the violent clash as an internal party matter.
