Shiv Sena (UBT) Accuses Government of Neglect After Gadchiroli Snakebite Deaths

The Shiv Sena (UBT) accused the Maharashtra government on Wednesday of neglecting tribal communities following the deaths of three schoolgirls in a snakebite incident at an aided residential tribal school in Japatlai, located in Gadchiroli district's Dhanora taluka.

In an editorial published through its party mouthpiece, the Shiv Sena (UBT) stated that the tragedy highlights the severe risks faced by children living and studying in remote regions. The party cited the deaths as direct evidence of systemic neglect, pointing to inadequate safety, healthcare, and infrastructure across the tribal belt.

According to the opposition party, the incident underlines a broader failure by the state government to provide essential safeguards and infrastructure for students in remote residential facilities.
