Shiv Sena UBT Slams Government Over Stagnant Job Market Data

The Shiv Sena (UBT) on Thursday criticized the central government's economic claims, stating that official employment data presented in Parliament contradicts frequent assertions regarding strong economic and industrial growth. The party voiced its critique in an editorial published in its mouthpiece, 'Saamana', in Mumbai.

According to the Uddhav Thackeray-led party, figures released by the Ministry of Statistics on Monday revealed that employment opportunities across India have remained largely stagnant over the past year. The party argued that this stagnant job market exposes the reality behind the government's assertions surrounding a 5-trillion economy.

The editorial highlighted that despite frequent claims of economic progress and industrial growth, the official employment data presented in Parliament paints a different picture. The Uddhav Thackeray faction emphasized that the Ministry of Statistics findings directly challenge the official narrative regarding employment growth.
