Shiv Sena UBT Slams Maharashtra Government Over TET Paper Leak In Bhiwandi

On Monday, June 29, 2026, the Shiv Sena (UBT) strongly criticized the Maharashtra government over an alleged Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) paper leak in Bhiwandi. The political party claimed that the state has now become the epicentre of examination paper leaks.
The allegations were published in an editorial in the party's mouthpiece, 'Saamana'. In the editorial, Shiv Sena (UBT) stated that the repeated leaks of exam papers reflect deep systemic failures in both governance and law enforcement across Maharashtra.
The opposition party pointed to the incident in Bhiwandi as a key example of the ongoing deterioration of the state's education system. According to the editorial, a distinct lack of accountability within the current administration has allowed paper leak rackets to flourish and operate.
The party argued that these repeated failures showcase a broader breakdown in how public examinations are secured and conducted. The editorial expressed concern over how these systemic issues continue to impact the credibility of the state's educational institutions and the future of candidates.
