Superblue to debut Second Nature immersive art exhibition at NMACC in BKC

An immersive and interactive art exhibition titled 'Second Nature' is scheduled to open at the Art House within the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) in the Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), Mumbai. Running from July 3, 2026, to January 10, 2027, the exhibition marks the Asia debut of the experiential art venture Superblue, merging art, technology, and nature through large-scale installations.

The exhibition will span all four floors of the Art House, transforming the venue into a major cultural attraction. Unlike conventional art galleries where visitors view artworks from a distance, 'Second Nature' invites the audience to step inside the installations, interact with them, and become active participants. Many of the featured works react to movement, touch, light, and human presence, ensuring a unique experience for every visitor.

The artistic journey begins on the first floor with thought-provoking installations by Random International. In this space, the art responds directly to the physical presence of the audience. Visitors can witness portraits gradually fading away, encounter mirrors that appear to observe them, and explore works that challenge ideas of identity, perception, and human interaction.

The second floor transports visitors into a digital universe designed by teamLab. This environment features digital landscapes where flowers bloom across the space and glowing lights react to every touch. The constantly evolving visuals ensure that the environment changes with each movement.

On the third floor, artists Simon Heijdens and A.A. Murakami blur the boundaries between the natural and digital worlds. Visitors will experience weather-responsive virtual plants, atmospheric installations, and ethereal mist-filled floral creations that establish a dreamlike environment.

The exhibition concludes on the fourth floor with an interactive installation by acclaimed artist Es Devlin. This final experience invites visitors to step directly into a hand-drawn artistic landscape. Guests are able to become part of the artwork itself and leave with a personalized keepsake inspired by their participation.
