Thane and Mumbai Expected to Receive Light to Moderate Rain Under Overcast Skies

Thane and Mumbai woke up to overcast skies on Wednesday morning, with the India Meteorological Department forecasting light to moderate rainfall across the region during the day.

According to the weather forecast issued at 9 am by the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Mumbai, Thane, Raigad, and neighbouring areas are expected to experience intermittent rain as ongoing monsoon activity continues.

The weather department noted that the sky would remain partly cloudy to overcast through the day. The forecast indicated that precipitation is likely to stay light to moderate across the city and its surrounding suburbs rather than turning into intense downpours.

Monsoon activity remains active across the coastal belt, bringing consistent cloud cover and intermittent showers to Thane and the wider metropolitan region.
