Three injured as building floor collapses onto Wadala East medical shop

Three people were injured on Tuesday morning after the first floor of a ground-plus-one-storey structure collapsed onto a medical shop in Shanti Nagar, Wadala East. The incident, which occurred behind Vidyalankar College, was reported at 11:32 AM.
According to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation's (BMC) Disaster Management Cell, the first floor of the building collapsed directly onto Samrat Medical, injuring two men and a woman.
Before the Mumbai Fire Brigade could arrive at the scene, local residents initiated rescue operations. The residents successfully rescued the injured individuals and shifted them to a nearby private clinic using a private vehicle.
The BMC identified the injured individuals as 27-year-old Khushabu Khan, 40-year-old Ashish Singh, and 30-year-old Sunil Yadav.
Regarding their medical conditions, officials stated that Khushabu Khan suffered a minor head injury. Ashish Singh sustained a minor injury to his left hand, while Sunil Yadav sustained a minor injury to his right leg.
All three injured persons received first aid at the private clinic. Following their treatment, they were discharged from the clinic, according to the BMC.
