Three Men Arrested For Stealing Vyagheshwar Mahadev Mandir Donation Boxes

The Bhoiwada Police have arrested three men for allegedly stealing donation boxes from the Vyagheshwar Mahadev Mandir on Sadanand Jadhav Marg in Naigaon, Dadar East. The theft took place overnight between 9 pm on June 28 and 6 am on June 29. Following the swift action by the police, the entire stolen property, which consisted of two donation boxes containing cash valued at Rs 9,000, was successfully recovered.

The incident was reported after the priest of the Vyagheshwar Mahadev Mandir noticed that the donation boxes had been stolen from the temple premises. The priest then approached the Bhoiwada Police to lodge a formal complaint. Acting on the priest's complaint, the police registered a case under Sections 332B, 331(4), and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita against the accused persons.

To crack the temple theft case, a special investigation team was formed by the Bhoiwada Police. The team utilized technical analysis and gathered local intelligence to trace the suspects involved. Their efforts proved successful as they managed to identify and apprehend the three men connected to the crime.

The arrested individuals have been identified by the police as Rohit Mallesh Khandagale, aged 21, who works as a car wash worker and resides in Sewri; Aditya Ramesh Prasad, aged 22, a catering worker from Antop Hill; and Sahil Shaikh, also known as Mandwa, a resident of Bengalipura in Antop Hill.

Upon being taken into custody, the three suspects were subjected to interrogation by the police. During the questioning, the accused confessed to their involvement in the crime. Based on the information obtained during the interrogation, the police team successfully recovered both of the stolen donation boxes, along with the cash that had been kept inside them. The total value of the recovered property amounted to Rs 9,000, representing a complete recovery of the stolen items.
