Three Rescued After Old Bungalow Partially Collapses in Walkeshwar

Three people were rescued unhurt after a portion of an old bungalow partially collapsed in Mumbai's Walkeshwar area on Saturday morning. The falling debris from the structure crashed onto an adjacent chawl, prompting an immediate response from civic authorities.
The incident took place along Walkeshwar Road in the Teen Batti area, opposite Anurag Building and near Jabareshwar Gully.
According to preliminary information provided by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), a section of the ground-plus-two-storey building gave way during the morning hours and collapsed directly onto the neighbouring chawl.
Emergency teams from the Mumbai Fire Brigade and the BMC quickly mobilised and arrived at the scene to conduct search and rescue operations. Rescuers safely pulled three people from the site. All three individuals were confirmed to have escaped without injuries.
