Three Schoolgirls Killed After Travel Bus Hits Two-Wheeler in Hinganghat

Three schoolgirls lost their lives after a travel bus allegedly rammed into their two-wheeler near Ambedkar School in Maharashtra's Hinganghat city on Independence Day, August 15.

The three girls were travelling together on the two-wheeler when the bus reportedly struck their vehicle from behind. The collision left all three severely injured on the road.

Following the crash, local residents from the surrounding area rushed to the spot to assist the victims. The injured teenagers were quickly transported to a nearby hospital for emergency medical care. However, all three girls succumbed to their injuries while undergoing treatment at the hospital.

The deceased have been identified as 15-year-old Samruddhi Rupak Dhamse, a resident of Sant Gomaji Ward in Hinganghat; 17-year-old Aarohi Raju Chavare; and 17-year-old Misbah Javed Sheikh, a resident of Sant Chokhoba Ward.

The tragic deaths of the three students on Independence Day have plunged their families and the local community into deep mourning.
