Traffic Restrictions Announced in Jogeshwari West for Eid-e-Milad on August 26

The Mumbai Traffic Police have announced temporary road closures and vehicular diversions in Jogeshwari West on Wednesday, August 26, to facilitate the annual Eid-e-Milad procession.

According to an official traffic notification issued by the police, the traffic restrictions will remain in effect for 12 hours, running from 12:00 noon until midnight. The regulations will directly impact movement along Swami Vivekanand Road (S.V. Road) and surrounding connecting routes in the area.

Authorities stated that the precautionary measures and diversions have been introduced to manage large crowds expected to gather for the event and to maintain public safety throughout the procession route.

The Mumbai Police have urged motorists, commuters, and local residents to take note of the advisory, plan their travel accordingly, and cooperate with the on-ground traffic arrangements.
