Traffic Restrictions Announced on Bandra Road for Dahi Handi on September 5

The Mumbai Traffic Police have announced temporary traffic restrictions in Bandra ahead of Dahi Handi celebrations scheduled for Saturday, September 5, 2026.

According to a traffic police notification, Bandra Road will remain closed to vehicular movement to manage large gatherings and maintain order in the locality.

The vehicular curbs will be implemented from 5 pm to 11 pm. Authorities stated that the measures are intended to manage anticipated crowds and ensure the safety of both pedestrians and motorists.

The traffic police have advised motorists traveling through the area to plan their journeys in advance and use designated diversion routes during the restriction hours.
